Interior design + decorating has been a passion of mine since my teens - everything in my room was meticulously placed and I have always loved rearranging to get everything just perfect! My family calls me "eagle eye" for my attention to detail and for me, design is ALL in the details. It wasn't until I was a mom though, spending a lot more time at home that I realized how much my space effects me. Sometimes I wish that it didn't, that I could just be happy with the basics, but I'm not! My brain doesn't stop thinking of what to do next or how I could change something to make it a little better. I crave color and seasonal change. I have worked with my mom doing design for several years now and 2 years ago, I started my pillow company that has now evolved into STAY + Co. I feel like it's time to focus some of my time on designing and decorating.
My mom has a tween girl that is getting a room makeover for her birthday. The color of the walls with be Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams. When I saw this Minted print, I new that would be the focal point of the room and based the rest of my decisions off of it. This is just a rough draft, but I think we are headed in the right direction!
